Mr. George Emmons Vann, age 96, of Goldsboro, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at North Carolina State Veterans Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 12 noon from the First Baptist Church of Magnolia on 423 Carroll Street. Rev. Tony Harrington officiating. Burial will follow at Little Mission Cemetery in Magnolia.
Left to cherish his precious memories are one son, Richard Vann (Sandra) of Fayetteville; three grandchildren: Richard Vann, Jr. (Robin) of Charlotte, Michon Vann, Fayetteville and Courtney Williams of Greensboro; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; Beatrice Vann of Magnolia and Eldora Perry of Louisburg; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 6 to 7 pm, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.

Mr. Robert Wade Taylor, age 74, of Rose Hill, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Pender Memorial Hospital, Burgaw.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill at 6 pm. Rev. Brian Doles officiating.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Laura Denise Taylor of Rose Hill; three sons: Michael Taylor of Rose Hill, Joshua Taylor of Wilmington and Blane Taylor of Kinston; one brother, Charles Taylor (Judy) of Goldsboro; two nieces: Jessica Taylor and Maxine Taylor; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. William McKinley Hardy, age 70, of Magnolia, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 from the Betholite Missionary Baptist Church, Magnolia, at 1 pm. Evangelist Tammy Green officiating. Burial will follow at Boone Family Cemetery, Magnolia, NC.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories three children: William Hardy, Jr. of Matthews, NC, Shelby Radcliffe of Matthews, NC and Vanessa H. Jenkins of Odenton, MD; four sisters: Christine Collins of Magnolia, NC, Katie Faison of Warsaw, NC, Sarah Walker of Magnolia, NC and Rachel Epps (Leon) of Queens, NY; several grandchildren, one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 12 noon to 1 pm at the church, one hour prior to the funeral.
