Mrs. Queen Ester Bagley, age 80, of Beulaville, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held from the Daisy Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Beulaville on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2 pm. Rev. Gary Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one son, Dwight Wilkins (Shirley) of Beulaville; one sister, Zilphia Moore of Beulaville; two granddaughters: Allisa Diggs (Stanley) of Alexandria, VA and Sarah Lewis of Kenansville; three great-grandchildren: Stanley Diggs (Kim), Zuriel Donaldson and Daquan Pollard; two great, great-grandchildren: Shawn and Ivy Diggs; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. ….A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 1 to 2 pm, at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Garry Lendell Lamb, age 65, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Durham.
Funeral services will be held from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 12 noon. Rev. Marilyn M. Brewington eulogist. Burial will follow at the Huffin Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Glenda Lamb of Magnolia; one daughter, Telecia Huffin-Elliott (Milton); special grandson, Tavis Lamb of Magnolia; four brothers: Erwin Murphy (Joyce) of Rose Hill, Larry Lamb (Mary) of Rose Hill, Ransom Murphy, Jr. (Marie) of Norfolk, VA and Alton Robinson (Emma) of Georgia; three sisters: Elgie Drake (Isaac) of Clinton, Gretha McLamb (Theodore) of Greensboro and Evelyn Mathis Pickett (Vick) of Clinton; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three aunts; mother-in-law, Alpha Williams of Magnolia; three sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law; special friend/brother, Prince Snowden of Rose Hill; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. ….A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 11 to 12 noon, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
