Mr. James Forrest Coston, age 71, of Rose Hill, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Kenansville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held from the Island Creek A.M.E. Church, 1343 W Charity Road, Rose Hill, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Ruth Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Patricia S. Coston of Rose Hill; two sons, Forrest T. Coston of Charlotte and Travis A. Kenan of New Britain, CT; four daughters: Priscilla Bryant (Tony) of Rose Hill, Jennifer C. Williams of Wilmington, Forrestine Carlton (Kenneth) of Clinton and Shawn Miller (Kelvin) of Wallace; mother, Dora Coston of Wallace; two brothers: Kenneth Coston of Mount Olive and John David Coston (Gwen) of Rose Hill; four sisters: Christine Coston of Flushing NY, Edith Joseph of Dudley, Janice Coston of Mt. Olive and Shelvie J. Coston-Thomas of Plainville, CT; seventeen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four aunts, two uncles, two sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews and countless relatives and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held from 6 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.

Mrs. Bernice Loftin Moore, age 84, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Kenansville on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Moore Family Cemetery in Magnolia.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Clarence Moore of Magnolia; two sons: Walter Moore (Kim) of Columbia, SC and Clarence Moore, Jr. of Magnolia; two daughters: Clarice Moore of Magnolia and Joyce F. Frederick (Matthew) of Kenansville; two brothers: Edward Loftin of Whiteville and John Loftin (Brenda) of Durham; three sisters: Ina Mae Loftin of Yonkers, NY, Elenora Dewitt of Goldsboro and Mellissa Ann Brown of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 1 to 2 pm, at the church.
