Mrs. Sherita Mathis McKiver, age 51, of Magnolia, died Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, George McKiver of Magnolia; two daughters: Chawnta Alexander of Magnolia and Ashely Prophet of Elizabeth City; parents: Marie and Carriel Mathis of Magnolia; four sisters: Lynetta McIver (Steven) of Magnolia, Wanda Allen (Kevin) of Magnolia, Constance Olatidoye (Babatunde) of Wilmington and Ann Mathis of Magnolia; two grandchildren: Aajah (Cookie) Alexander and Livi Richardson; a host of nieces, nephews and countless loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 2 to 3 pm, at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Mildred Patricia Gresham Garrett, age 61, of Whiteville, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held from the Central Missionary Baptist Church, 443 West Virgil Street in Whiteville on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Rev. David Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Mainor Family Cemetery on Fort Knox Road, Magnolia.
Left to cherish her precious memories are two sons: Edwin Garrett, IV (Brandi) of Woodbridge, VA and Ronald Garrett (Dawn) of Whiteville; one daughter, Parrisha Garrett (Rick) of Fredericksburg, NC; four brothers: Leonard Gresham (Mae) of Riegalwood, Robert Gresham of Nashville, TN, Matthew McKinney (Zahuti) of Tamiment, PA and Parrish McKinney (Charlotte) of Nashville, TN; five sisters: Leona Howard of Macon, GA, Leonora Morris (Robert) of Leland, Phyllis Blanks of Macon, GA, Deborah Gresham of Stone Mountain, GA and Anna M. McKinney of Wilmington; fourteen grandchildren: Dominique White, Clarence White, Jr., Mark Williams, Michaella Williams, Matthew Williams, Amira Coles, Edwin C. Garrett, V, Madison Garrett, Treon Mathis, Tracy Chapple, Norman Chapple, Alexis Garrett, Juravia Gore, Ronald Garrett, Jr., Camille White and Ki'yan York; two great-grandchildren; a loyal and devoted friend, Anthony Faison; two sisters-in-law: Minnie Bellamy of New Bern and Corine Bellamy of Burgaw; one uncle, William E. Mainor of Charlotte and one aunt, Tempye Mainor of Jacksonville; a host of nieces, nephews and countless loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Nathaniel Boney, age 84, of Rose Hill, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held from the Island Creek A.M.E. Church of Rose Hill, on Tuesday, May 3 at 1:00 pm. Rev. James E. Boney officiating. Burial will follow at Boney Family Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Boney of Rose Hill; one son, Elford Ray Boney (Mary) of Rose Hill; one grandchild, Eunique B. Boney of Lumberton, one great-granddaughter, Alayna E. Boney of Lumberton; one step-grandson, Darrelle Oxendine of Ft. Riley, KS; sister-in-law, Annis R. Bryant of Kinston; devoted friend, Sherman L. Moody (Gladys) of Fairmont; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Charity Church of Rose Hill, Carr Town Road, Rose Hill on Wednesday, May 4 at 11:00 am. Bishop Chris Melton officiating. Burial will follow at Wynn Family Cemetery in Mt. Olive.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one son, Michael Allen of Rose Hill; three daughters: Audrey Allen of Beulaville, Doris Allen Rawls (Fernald, Jr.) of Rose Hill and Joyce Carr (Harold) of Rose Hill; two sisters-in-law: Maggie Melton of Holly Springs and Shirley Hornsby of Durham; two brothers-in-law: Edward Allen (Estella) and Ralph Allen (Carolyn), both of Rose Hill; two special daughters: Doreen Jackson and Joyce Car Leak; devoted friend, Carolyn Carr; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, seven great, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
