Ms. Victoria Hodges, age 78, of Magnolia, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Kindred Hospital, Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Gregory Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Little Mission Cemetery, Magnolia.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter, Vickie Cheeks of Magnolia; two grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 12 noon to 1 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Thomas Cheeks, age 84, of Magnolia, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. John Hospital, Far Rockaway, NY.
Funeral services will be held from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Gregory Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Little Mission Cemetery, Magnolia.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories one son, Thomas Cheeks, Jr. (Tiffany) of Gastonia, and one daughter, Victoria Cheeks of Magnolia; five sisters: Clara White, Gladys Morehead, Roberta Rothstein, Nancy Tate Jones and Maxine Newsome, all of New York City; grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 12 noon to 1 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Armetta Stallings Lee, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Hock Family Pavilion, Durham.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Mt. Level Missionary Baptist Church, 316 Hebron Road, Durham, 12:00 noon. Viewing from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon at the church. Burial will follow at 5:00 pm at Batts Family Cemetery, Chinquapin.
Left to cherish her precious memories: one son, Edward Lee (Marilyn) of Durham, NC; two daughters: Carla Adams (Jesse) of Wilson, NC and Stephanie Lee of Durham, NC; three sisters; one brother; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
