Mr. Alexander Purdie, age 90, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at home.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at Willard Chapel Baptist Church, 880 Church Street, Willard, North Carolina, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, 9332 US Highway 117 North in Watha, NC.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter, Angela E. Purdie-Hanks (Chad) and one granddaughter, Salonge M. Hanks of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters Doretha Owens, of White Oak, NC; Laura Shipman (James), of Tar Heel, NC; one brother-in-law; five sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
