Anetta Highsmith

Ms. Anetta Highsmith, age 51, of Teachey, NC, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at home. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Wallace-Rose Hill Fine Arts Building in Teachey, NC. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Teachey, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are two sons; James McArthur, Jr. and Tavion Bright, both of Teachey, NC; one brother, Jerome Highsmith of Ft. Walden Beach, FL; one sister, Patricia Boney of Teachey, NC; one niece, Quala Chasten (Lawon) of Rose Hill, NC; two nephews: Rendell Boney (Alysia) of Atlanta, GA and Desmond Johnson of Rose Hill, NC; one aunt, Esther Teachey, one uncle, William Cullers; two god-sons: Alex and Ahmad Lisane; special cousins: Chris James, Brandon James, Sharon Brown, Senora Lisane, Kim Brown, Irving Brown and Willie Horn, Jr.; a host of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, one hour prior to the service, at Wallace Rose Hill High School Fine Arts Building.
