Annette Herring-Matthews

Mrs. Annette Herring Matthews, age 78, of Teachey, NC Peacefully Transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her residence. She is survived by five sons: Robert Williams of Cary, Michael Williams of Kernersville, Joey Edward Williams (Frances) of Colfax, Robert Carney of Willard and Fabian Bradshaw (Angela) of Conyers, GA; two daughters: Anita M. Smallwood (Rudolph) of Jacksonville and Carolyn Fennell of Durham; two brothers, Jeremiah O. Herring and Lawrence F. Herring, both of Rose Hill; two sisters, Mary Williams (Namon) of Walkertown and Inell Davis of Wallace; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, four great, great-grandchildren; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 29,2020 at Wallace-Rose Hill Fine Arts Building, 602 High School Rd, Teachey, NC 28464. Rev. James Sinclair officiating. Interment will be at the Herring Cemetery, Old Camp Road, Rose Hill, NC. Visitation for relatives and friends will be 12:00 noon to 12:50 pm Saturday, February 29,2020 at Wallace-Rose Hill Fine Arts Building, Teachey, NC one hour prior to the service.
