Anthony Dale Lane aka "Ant"

    Mr. Anthony Dale Lane, age 63, of Magnolia, NC, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

    Funeral services will be at 5:30 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at First Assembly of God Church, 212 W. Main Street, Wallace, NC. Entombment will be held at a later date at the Lane Family Cemetery, Magnolia, NC.

    Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Gail Hayes Lane of Magnolia, NC; four children:  Tiffany Middleton of Charlotte, NC, Antron M. Hayes, Gregory Lane, and Derrick Lane, all of Magnolia, NC; three grandchildren: Kaestazia Middleton and Karris Middleton, both of Charlotte, NC, Naijah Lane of Sarecta, NC; one great-grandchild, Azavier Johnson of Charlotte, NC; mother, Cleopatra N. Lane of Magnolia, NC; three brothers:  Edmund Newkirk (Colleen) of Magnolia, NC, Jerry T. Lane of Kenansville, NC, Keith M. Lane of Teachey, NC; four sisters:  Glenda Hooks (Larry) of Magnolia, NC, Shelby Bright of Rocky Point, NC, Audrey Williams (Howard) of Goldsboro, NC, Mary Lane of Magnolia, NC; mother-in-law, Mary Rose Hayes of Willard, NC; two aunts: Alpha Lee Hall and Exie Lane Martin, both of Magnolia, NC; one great-aunt, Eldora Williams Perry of Castle Hayne, NC; two special cousins like sisters: Rosalyn Hooks (Dudley) of Rose Hill, NC and Mary Susan Melvin of Magnolia, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.

    Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC.
