Barbara Jean Southerland Raines

Mrs. Barbara Jean Southerland Raines, age 75, of Magnolia, NC passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at The Magnolia Assisted Living Center in Clinton, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories: her children: Harry T. Raines, II (Charletta) of Fayetteville, NC and Trumanda Raines of Jacksonville, NC; two brothers: Thomas Southerland and Jackie Southerland (Ethel), both of Magnolia, NC; three sisters: Lorraine Raines of Fort Washington, MD, Diane Raines (Perry) and Margaret Southerland, both of Magnolia, NC; four grandchildren: Quenton Joseph Raines of Magnolia, NC, Juwann Randall and Justin Avery, both of Hope Mills, NC and Sakia N’cole Cooper of Jacksonville, NC; three special grandchildren: Ka’Niyuh Pegues, Tierra Carney and Tyre Carney, all of Magnolia, NC; special daughter, Dishonda M. Pegues (Joshua) of Magnolia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
