Mrs. Barbara Ann Washington Lewis, age 73, of Wallace, NC passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Viewing of Mrs. Lewis will be from  12:00 noon until 12:45pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Newkirk Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Willard, NC. Burial will follow at the African American Memorial Gardens in Willard, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband: Clyde Lewis of Wallace, NC; daughter, Sonia Pearsall of Wallace, NC; son, Devega Pearsall of Wallace, NC; step-son, Adolphus Lewis of Wilmington, NC; brother, Thomas Washington (Claudine) of Wallace, NC; brother-in-law, Allen Lewis of Charlotte, NC; five sisters-in-law; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
