Mr. Benjamin Franklin Herring, age 69, of Clayton, NC, died Sunday, July 25, 2021, at his residence. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Greater Yeshuwa Temple, 6347 NC-41, Wallace, NC. Interment will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road in Goldsboro, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Janice Furlow Herring of Raleigh, NC; one son, Benjamin F. Herring (Tamika) of Clayton, NC; two daughters; Yolanda McClain (Vincent) of Clayton, NC and Alisa Herring of Raleigh, NC; three brothers: Walter Brunson of Wichita Falls, TX, Fitsgerald Brunson of Goldsboro, NC and James Everette Montgomery of California; two sisters: Kay Frances Fryar (Henry) of Kenly, NC and Annie Mae Walker-Wade (Anthony) of Albany, NY; seven grandchildren: five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 11:00 am to 11:50 am at Greater Yeshuwa Temple, one hour prior to the service.
