Betty Kenan Murphy

Mrs. Betty Kenan Murphy, age 87, of Norfolk, VA, formerly of Duplin County, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Sentra Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm at Adoram Missionary Baptist Church, 522 N Teachey Road in Wallace, NC followed by the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories; husband, Joe Murphy of Norfolk, VA; three sons: Quinton J.Murphy (Debra), Alta Loma CA, Walter N. Murphy(Sharon), Norfolk VA, Richard M. Murphy(Angela), Henderson NC; Eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother, Douglas Williams (Bessie) of Brooklyn, NY; a host of nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends that will miss her dearly.
