Ms. Bridgette Lynette Teachey, age 59, of Norfolk, VA passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC.
Bridgette is survived by her parents, Mary Jacqueline and William Earl Teachey; husband, Stanley Bodie; two sisters, Melanie Taylor (Charles Taylor), and Debbie Degree; three children, Freda Wilson, Darohn Teachey ( Rahnae Teachey) , and William Teachey (Fatou Teachey); three grandchildren, Dashawn Teachey, Ariyah Teachey, Elijah Britt, and one on the way ; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
