Ms. Ceretha Mae Frederick Vann, age 90, of Magnolia, NC passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at her daughter’s home in Kenansville, NC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at First Missionary Baptist Church in Kenansville, NC, followed by the funeral services at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are two sons: James Henderson Vann of Magnolia, NC and Kenneth Renee Vann (Lynette) of Washington, DC; one daughter, Latasha Vann Pickett (Acie) of Kenansville, NC; six sisters: Edna Laster, Carolyn Hall (Joe) and Annie B. Johnson, all of Magnolia, NC; Gwendolyn Cromity (Jerome) of Wallace, NC, Audrey Rowls (Willie) of Jacksonville, NC and Mary Gardner of Ellicott City, Maryland; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
