Mr. Cleveland Dale Bowen, age 71, of Hampton, Virginia formerly of Willard, NC passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his home in Hampton, Virginia.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Newkirk Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2990 Willard Road, Willard, NC. Viewing will be from 1:00 pm till 1:45 pm before the service. Burial will follow at African American Community Gardens (Newkirk Chapel).
