Council Fennell Hatcher

          Mr. Council Fennell Hatcher, age 75, of Shelbyville, TN, formerly of Duplin County, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in Shelbyville, TN.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. 

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Sylvia Hatcher of Ragland, AL; four sons: Council Dean Hatcher (Jennifer) of Meriden, CT, Michael Hatcher of Ragland, AL, Mishel Newkirk of Warsaw, NC and Julius Looney of Ragland, AL; one daughter, Sheila Darden (Kevin) of Jacksonville, NC; two sisters: Lillian Rice of Norfolk, VA and Melva Boyd (Waymond) of Shelbyville, TN; several grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and special  friends that will miss him dearly.
