Daisy Lee Pitts Newkirk

Ms. Daisy Lee Pitts Newkirk, age 86, of Jacksonville, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at home.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 1:30 to 2:15 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC immediately followed by the funeral at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are four sons: James Newkirk (Donna) of Fayetteville, NC, Robert T. Newkirk of Jacksonville, NC, Terry Lee Newkirk and Shelton Newkirk of Raleigh, NC; two daughters: Melanie D. Newkirk and Sharon Newkirk-Raynor of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Louise Foskey of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
