Daniel E. Miller, 63, of Schenectady, NY, formerly of Beulaville, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Born on December 17, 1958, in Rose Hill, NC he was the son of the late Rossie and Clara Hall Miller. Dan was raised and educated in Beulaville, NC, after high school he moved to Poughkeepsie, NY, where he lived until the early 1990s. He then moved to Schenectady, NY where he operated his own business. Dan was one of the original charter members of The Everlasting Life Church of God in Christ in Schenectady, serving as a member of the Men’s Department and 2 terms on the Board of Trustees. Whenever his Pastor called him, he made himself available for the beautification of the church. In his free time, Dan enjoyed fishing, collecting, western movies, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Dan was also pre-deceased by a sister, Felicia Marsh. Survivors include his wife, Robbin Young-Miller of Schenectady; three sons, Daniel E. Miller Jr. of Arizona, David E. Miller of Schenectady, and Desmond E. Miller of Florida; four grandchildren, Jaiden Miller, Milleah, London, and Lilianna Miller; seven siblings, Jackie Hill of North Carolina, Marvin (Janie) Miller of North Carolina, Herbert Miller of North Carolina, Christopher (Breshana) Miller of Maryland, Elissa (Terry) Thomas of Maryland, Chenelle Miller of North Carolina and Torrey (Lolita) Miller of Virginia; a brother-in-law, Angelo Marsh and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Burial will take place in Hall’s Family Cemetery in Beulaville, NC.
