Ms. Darleatha Smith, age 62, of Teachey, NC passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at ECU Health Vidant Hospital in Kenansville, NC.

A viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC, followed by the funeral services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Teachey, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are two brothers: James A. Smith (Carlotta) of Fayetteville, NC and Lawrence Andrews of Wallace, NC; two sisters: Josephine S. Williams of Rose Hill, NC and Carolyn L. Smith of Teachey, NC; two aunts: Doris S. Lewis of San Diego, CA and Carrie S. Carr (James) of Wallace, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
