June 5, 1932 — September 7, 2022
Mr. David Lee Smith, age 90, of Rose Hill, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2286 S NC 11 Hwy, Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Left to cherish his precious memories are two sons: Dr. David Smith, Jr. and Deurward Smith, both of Nashville, TN; one sister, Minister Bertha Smith of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren: JaQuan Smith and Deonte’ Smith, both of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
