Mr. Dean C. Pickett, age 76, of Chinquapin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Kenansville Health and Rehab in Kenansville, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 noon at The Mount Church, 278 Cole Swamp Rd, Chinquapin, NC 28521. Viewing will be held one hour before the service. Interment will follow at the Batts Cemetery, Hwy 50, Chinquapin, NC 28521.

Left to cherish his memories are: one brother, James Pickett (Ellen) of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters: Linda Pickett (Rayfield) of Beulaville, NC, Lannie Pickett of Chinquapin, NC and Cindy Bowen (Kelvin) of Beulaville, NC; two aunts, Iola Hall and Betty Pickett; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
