Mrs. Delois Elaine Echols Purdie, age 87, of Willard, NC passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at home.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Willard Chapel, 880 Church Street in Willard, NC, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Willard, NC.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Alexander Purdie of Fayetteville, NC; one daughter, Angela Purdie-Hanks (Chad), of Fayetteville, NC; one grandchild, Salonge Hanks; one brother, Ronald Echols(Geneva); five sisters: Thressa Lorraine Williams, Mother Alfair Brinson, Floyetta Jane Murray, Carolyn Murray(James) and Mary Echols Townsley; two sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
