Edd Lenton Williams, Sr.

Mr. Edd Lenton Williams, Sr., of Wallace, died Monday, October 18, 2021 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 23, 2021, 12:00 o’clock noon at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Virginia Carlton Williams of Wallace, NC; two sons: Joseph Williams (Annie) and Edd L. Williams, Jr. (Carolyn), both of Durham, NC; six daughters: Dorothy Stitch (Julius), Linda Allen, Ella Massey (Billy), and Christine Kennedy (Brian) all of Jacksonville, NC, Glenda Jones of Hot Springs, AR and Grace Williams of Durham, NC; sister-in-law, Annie Williams of Rose Hill, NC; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great, great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
