Mr. Edward J. Brinson, age 67, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at his residence.

A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow immediately after the service at the Brinson/Brown Family Cemetery in the Rainbow Community of Warsaw.

Left to cherish his memories are: wife, Latocia Brinson of Rose Hill, NC; daughter, Celeste Broadway (Michael) of Maryland; granddaughter, Keymani Broadway of Maryland; godson, Zaylan Thomas of Rose Hill, NC; three step-children: Megan Merritt of Greensboro, NC, Brandon Merritt and Matthew Merritt, both of Rose Hill, NC; brothers, Willie Brinson (Janice) and Eddie Brinson (Jessie Mae), both of Wallace, NC; sisters: Margaret Pulley (Henry) of Maryland, Thelma Montgomery of Wilmington, NC, Mattie Glasper (Bernard) of Maryland, Carolyn Lisane (Willie) of Rose Hill, NC and Linda Hall (Wellington) of Raleigh, NC; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
