Edward James Teachey, Sr.

Mr. Edward James Teachey, Sr., age 67, of the Greenevers Community, died Monday, September 27, 2021 at Laurels of Pender in Burgaw, NC. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish his precious memories are four children: Raymond Usher (Celest) of High Point, NC, Arletha Farland of Durham, NC, Edward Teachey, Jr. of Beulaville, NC and Delois Teachey of Greensboro, NC; three brothers: Carvett and Issac Batts of Rose Hill and Johnnie Sloan; three sisters: Cheryl Mitchell of Warsaw, Helen Smith (Spencer) of Kenansville and Sondra Kay Sloan; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one uncle; special friends: Josephine Wade, Oswald "Butter" Faison and Rick Chasten; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
