Mr. Elmer David Rodriguez Ortes, age 17, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will take place at a later date at the Cementerio General Tamara Francisco Morazan in Comayagua Honduras.

Left to cherish his memories are his grandmother, Irma Isabel Hernandez; three aunts: Maria Esperanza Martinez, Hermelinda Zuniga and Betty Suyapa Zuniga, all of Wilmington, NC; many cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
