Erwin Douglas Murphy

                  Mr. Erwin Douglas Murphy, age 74, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

A visitation of family and friends (No Public Viewing) will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Clinton, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Joyce Williams Murphy of Rose Hill, NC; children: Carlisa Murphy (Delrick) of Clinton, NC and Antione Carr (Lanelle) of Mint Hill, NC; special son, Renato Murphy “Brother” of Clinton, NC; three brothers: Larry Lamb (Phyllis) of Rose Hill, NC, Ranson Murphy (Marie) of Norfolk, NC and Alton Robinson (Emma) of Georgia; three sisters: Elgie Drake (Isaac) of Birmingham, AL, Gretha McLamb of Greensboro, NC and Evelyn Dale Pickett (Vick) of Beulaville, NC; seven grandchildren; two aunts, Ora Jackson and Lenora Murphy; a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
