Mr. Gurnice Peterson, Jr., age 50, of Rose Hill, NC (Delway Community), Departed this world on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Graveside service will be at 12:00 noon Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Hayes Family Cemetery, Josephus Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Willie James, officiating. Left to cherish his precious memories are seven children: Dorrell Graham, Sr. (Shonda) of Elizabethtown, Sharnett Peterson of Clinton, Jakeshia Peterson of Savannah, GA, Jenna Rogers of Greensboro, Ja’Nesha Peterson of Savannah, GA, Dychellaye Peterson, and Allena Peterson, both of Wilmington; one brother, Monterrio Peterson (Sonya) of Harrells; one sister, Monica Peterson of Rose Hill; grandfather, Willie Hayes of Rose Hill; ten grandchildren: Kassidy Peterson, Dorrell Graham, Jr., Jrae’Von Graham, Donovan Smith, Jr., Milani Davis, Matthias Steward, Lovonte Simmons, Alexandria Simmons, Sincear Simmons, and Kilee Wallace; thirteen aunts, seven uncles, one great-uncle, four great-aunts; nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Viewing for relatives and friends will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill, NC.
