Mrs. Hattie Frances Peterson Herring, age 89, of Wallace, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in Canton, GA.

A visitation of family and friends will be on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens, Hwy 117, Teachey, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories: son, Willie Peterson (Jerrie Ann) of Teachey, NC and daughter, Sharon Bryant (Billy) of Canton, GA; six grandchildren: Terry Highsmith, Teresa Peterson, Billy D. Bryant, Jr., Adamm Bryant, Christopher Bryant and Alexander Bryant; sister-in-law: Gladys Peterson; special daughter, Ernestine Highsmith; numerous cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
