Mr. Herbert Sydney Chasten, of Anadarko, OK, formerly of Duplin County, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Shanoan Springs Nursing Home in Chickasha, OK.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Maxwell Family Cemetery, Hwy 11, Rose Hill, NC.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Randall B. Chasten, Sr. of Long Beach, CA; one grandson, Randall B. Chasten, Jr. (Lakenya) of Wimauma, FL; one brother, Kenneth R. Chasten (Mable) and two sisters: Alice Chasten and Dorothy Chasten, all of Rose Hill, NC; nieces, nephews and friends that will miss him dearly.
