Horace Kenan

          Mr. Horace Kenan, age 78, of Teachey, NC passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at home.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 29, 2023, 1:00 pm at GYT The Prayer Center, 6347 NC-41 Hwy in Wallace, NC. Burial will follow at Kenan Family Cemetery in Wallace, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories are: wife, Jacqueline Williams Kenan of Teachey, NC; son, Andre’ Kenan of District Heights, MD; daughter, L’Tanya Kenan of Greensboro, NC; brother, Roosevelt Kenan of Rose Hill, NC; sisters: Mildred Lane of Rose Hill, NC and Mary Bryant of Dudley, NC; sisters-in-law: Marie Kenan and Margrette Kenan; god-daughters: Jackie Herring of Willard, NC and Debbie Melvin of Rose Hill, NC; god-son, Gregory Carr of Rose Hill, NC; special cousins: Joe Kenan of Beulaville, NC, Ethel Smith of Washington, DC and Lucille Matthews of Wallace, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly.
