James Lavon Brinson

Mr. James Lavon Brinson, age 69, of Magnolia,NC Answered the Master's Call on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Smith Brinson of Magnolia; three daughters: Chasity Bell (Glenwood) of Magnolia, Sonya McClamb (Antonio) of Magnolia and Tonya Pegues (Kevin) of Salemburg, VA; one brother, Rev. Leroy Brinson (Linda) of Rose Hill; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one aunt, Ruby Brinson of Magnolia; mother-in-law, Marie Williams Smith of Warsaw; five sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, March 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Warsaw, 336 W Hill St, Warsaw, NC 28398. Rev. Theadore Thomas, III officiating. Interment will follow in the Brinson Cemetery, Magnolia, NC. All viewing will be 1:30 pm to 2:20 pm Saturday, March 21st, at First Baptist Church of Warsaw, one hour prior to the service.
