Mr. James David Sloan, age 69, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at home.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am from the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish his memories are two children: Clifford Middleton of New Bern, NC and Desiree Hackney of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Denese Nichelson (Donald) of Fredericksburg, VA; five grandchildren; Tameka M. Jackson, Erica Boney, LaQuita Clibbons, Barry Boney and Donald Nichelson, Jr.; one aunt, Dorothy Middleton of New York; special friend, Endora Hackney of Fayetteville, NC; a host of cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
