Mr. James Telfia Bowen, aka "JT", age 66, of Wallace, NC Answered the Master's Call on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington, NC. He is survived by his wife, Glenda D. Bowen of Wallace; two daughters, Nichollette and Jasmine Bowen of Wallace; two step-sons: Gregory Morisseau of Wallace and Henly Morisseau of Manassas, VA; mother, Laura Etta Bowen of Wallace; two brothers, Cleveland Dale Bowen of Hampton, VA and Wendell Bowen of Newport News, VA; one aunt, Betty Lee Boney of Wallace; twelve grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Newkirk Chapel Church, 2990 Willard Rd, Wallace, NC 28466. Rev. William Smith, officiating. Interment will follow in the African American Community Cemetery, Willard, NC. Viewing for relatives ad friends will be 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road,Rose Hill, NC.
