Mrs. Janice Marie Faison Ellerbe, age 74, of Rose Hill, NC passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories: husband, Nathaniel Ellerbe of Rose Hill, NC; two sons: Gregory Johnson (Priscilla) of Greensboro, NC and Larry Johnson of Rose Hill, NC; daughter: Claudia Lanier (Authur) of Wallace, NC; step-daughter, Rechelle Newkirk of Raleigh, NC; brother, John Carr (Emma) of Rose Hill, NC; four sisters: Linda Carr and Lillie Bell Carr of Wallace, NC, Rebecca Coston (Samuel) and Judy Wilson (Johnnie) of Teachey, NC; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Lou Brockett of Jamaica Queens, NY, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law; special friend: Erica Washington, Harrells, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
