Jannie Estella Stokes

Ms. Jannie Estella Stokes, age 78, of Rose Hill, accepted her eternal wings on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are three sons: Tony Brown of Baltimore, MD, Chris Carter of Rose Hill and Gregory Ash (Gloria) of Wallace; five daughters: Michelle Brown (Luiz Perez) and Suzette Carter of Rose Hill, Javon Brown of Beulaville, Teresa Bland (Rodney) of Watha and Kimberly James of Clinton; one sister, Anna Matthews of Baltimore, MD; numerous family members and friends that will miss her dearly. Graveside service will be 3:15 pm Monday, May 18, 2020 at Duplin Memorial Garden, Teachey, NC. Pastor Marjorie Kornegay, Officiating. Viewing for relatives and friends will be 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2020 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC.
