                 Mr. Jerry Lee Faison, age 78 of Wallace, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Newkirk Chapel Church, 2990 Willard Road in Wallace, NC at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at African American Community Cemetery in Wallace, NC. Viewing is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Rose Hill Funeral Home located at 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill NC 28458.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Paulette Newkirk Faison of Wallace, NC; two sons: Jerry Leon Faison of Hyattsville, MD and Tyrone Jordan of Frederick, MD; five daughters: Katherine Faison of Morrisville, NC, Brenda Faison of Charlotte, NC, Laura Roberts of Clayton, NC, Patricia Hackstall (Harold) of Riegelwood, NC, and Maggie Faison of Morrisville, NC; two brothers: Larry Lee Faison (Chiquita) and Edward Leon Carr (Robin); one brother-in-law, Dewitt Newkirk; five sisters-in-law: Frenzella Faison, Glenda Faison, Thelma Faison, Letha Faison and Betty Ann Pickett; special son/nephew: Steven Faison of Hughesville, MD; honorary sons: Eric Spencer and Jerod Spencer; special niece KaSandra “Sandy” Faison of Washington, DC; twenty grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
