Mrs. Jessie Mae Miller Murphy, age 78, of Kenansville, NC Peacefully Transitioned into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. She is survived by two sons: Lonzie B. Murphy, Jr. and Curtis L. Murphy; one daughter Bridgette King; three brothers: Josh Miller, Linwood Miller (Annette) and General Miller (Pamela), all of Kenansville; two sisters, Zenabia Smith of Newburgh, NY and Naomi Harris (James) of Durham; two sisters-in-law, Janice Still and Tina Miller; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be 12:30 pm Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Michael Reid, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Hwy 903, Magnolia, NC. Visitation for relatives and friends will be 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, May 15, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Rose Hill, NC.
