Jibril Naqi-Husayn Johnson

          Mr. Jibril Naqi-Husayn Johnson, age 23, of Teachey, NC passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Wallace-Rose Hill Fine Arts Building in Teachey, NC at 1:00 pm.

Left to cherish his precious memories: son: Jah’cari Johnson of Clinton, NC; parents: Andrea Scarbrough (Willis) of Teachey, NC and Hasan Rasheed (Ruqayyah) of Sanford, NC; maternal grandparents: Willie and Cathy Merritt of Rose Hill, NC; paternal grandparents: Cynthia McGiver and Larry Johnson, of Savannah, GA; seven siblings: Jalen James and Jamarae Lamb, both of Teachey, NC, Xavier Scarbrough of Rose Hill, NC, Maurice Carr of Ivanhoe, NC, Ianiana Scarbrough of Magnolia, NC, Abbas Rasheed and Ayida Rasheed, both of Sanford, NC; three aunts: Tonya Lamb, Nicole Powell (Tim) and Katina Johnson; three uncles: Reginald Lamb, Christopher McGiver and Kareem McGiver; best friends: Brandon Adams and Jalen Miller; a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
