Mr. John Lee Artis, age 78, of Rose Hill, NC, formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Rose Hill Funeral Home in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Friendship Church Cemetery in Rose Hill, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories: children: Valencia Davis of Rose Hill, NC and Loleta Artis of Baltimore, MD; aunt, Oleta Laurie Crumpler of Baltimore, MD; step-children: Sean Davis and Erycia Davis; four grandchildren; Eric Smith, Calvin Jones, Ashley Jones and Dawuan McKall; two great-grandchildren, Ny'Tierra Smith and Aaliyah Jones Cooper; one great, great-grandchild, NyZer Giddins; special cousin, Shauna Twitty; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
