Mr. Joshua Nelson Miller, Jr., age 85, of Kenansville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Warsaw Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Warsaw, NC.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 10:00 am to 10:50 am at Big Zion AME Zion Church, 247 N Church Street in Kenansville, NC, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Left to cherish his precious memories are three sons: Keith Miller (Gloria) of Kenansville, NC, Patrick Miller (Nancy) of Ashburn, VA and Walter Bizzell of Beulaville, NC; one daughter, Pamela Bizzell of Beulaville, NC; two brothers: Lenwood Miller (Annette) and General Miller, both of Kenansville, NC; two sisters: Naomi Harris (James) of Kenansville, NC and Zenobia Smith of Newburg, NY; one sister-in-law, Tina Miller of Kenansville, NC; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
