Mrs. Joyce Ann Bannerman Cyrus, age 69, of Rose Hill, NC died Thursday, August 26, 2021, at home. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, at 12:00 noon at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Hwy 903, Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, Grant Cyrus of Rose Hill, NC; one son, Grant Cyrus, Jr. (Pamela) of Kenansville, NC; one daughter, Tawanda Cyrus of Rose Hill, NC; one brother, McAffee O. Bannerman (Brenda) of Fayetteville, NC; four sisters; Erlene Cordell and Shera Bannerman Powell, both of District Heights, MD, Gwendolyn Scott and Linda Hall, both of Rose Hill, NC; five grandchildren; Kameron Cyrus, Alexius Mainor, Chassidy McMillian, Damian O. Carroll, and Tywan Carroll; three great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Deborah Bannerman of Temple Hill, MD, Brenda Cyrus of Teachey, NC, Margie Mitchell of Fayetteville, NC, Bernice McLean of Clinton, NC and Peggie Graham of Rose Hill, NC; one brother-in-law, Arthur Cyrus of Rose Hill, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, from 11 am to 12 noon at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
