Loretta "Big Sis" Carter

Ms. Loretta Carter, aka "Big Sis", age 57, of Beulaville, NC. Departed this life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at her home. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Bertha Battle officiating. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery, Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are two children, Robert Carter and Angela Carter, both of Beulaville; four brothers: Mike Carter of Jacksonville, David Carter (Dreama), Kenneth Carter (Tonya), and Robert Lee Carter (Sabenia), all of Beulaville; two sisters: Bertha Battle and Doretta Gore (Nathan), both of Beulaville; three grandchildren: Tenaja, K’mya and Dwight Carter; one great-grandchild, Loretta McKoy; two aunts: Eula Farrior and Beulah Chasten (Birdell), both of Rose Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation for relatives and friends will be 11:00 to 12:00 noon, one hour prior to the service at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Services will be live-streamed on the Rose Hill Funeral Home Facebook page. Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings to No More than 50 persons. We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order(Only 50 people will be allowed in the facility at all times), Wearing a mask or facial covering, sanitizing your hands, and practicing social distancing.
