Mr. Malachi McNeal Southerland, Sr., age 87, of Magnolia, NC passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Little Mission Cemetery in Magnolia, NC.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; one son, Malachi M. Southerland, Jr. (Faye) and one daughter, Deborah Hoskins; one sister, Elizabeth Douglas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
