Martha Johnson James

Mrs. Martha Johnson James, age 78, of Rose Hill, NC (the Greenevers Community) passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens, Highway 117, Teachey, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are her daughter, Arlene Terry of Bronx, NY; three grandchildren: Aubry Williams, Jr., Khalid Bartlett, and Aaron Williams; two sisters-in-law: Eula Mae Farrior and Beulah Chasten (Byrdell); one cousin, Evelyn Brown of Colonial Beach, VA; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
