Mary Elizabeth Boney James

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Boney James, age 87, of Magnolia, NC passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 in Suwanee, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Boney Family Cemetery, 2283 S NC-11 Hwy in Rose Hill, NC.

Left to cherish her precious memories are two daughters: Sarah “Sue” Newkirk (Larry) of Suwanee, GA and Sharon “Ballie” Stoudemire (Eugene) of Brooklyn, NY; two sons: Donald Ray Matthews (Willie Mae) and Willis James, both of Magnolia, NC; one brother, Clifton Boney, Jr. (Kwon) of Fayetteville, NC; two “special granddaughters”, Jasmine Newkirk and Dominique James; two special nieces: Harriet Vitishia Martin and Dr. Marilyn “Dianne” Bryant; two sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
