Mrs. Millicent Mable Epps Carr, aka “Millie”, Transitioned into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Rev. Wendell Newton, officiating. Interment will follow in the Carr Family Cemetery, Rose Hill, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are four children; Johnny L. Carr, Jr. (Shanita) of Clinton, Henry L. Carr (Erica) of Roxboro, Melissa Carr (Steve) of Rose Hill and Justin Carr (Victoria) of Alexandria, VA; special grandson: Martez Carr; husband, Johnny Lee Carr, Sr. of Rose Hill; two brothers: Gilbert Gillis (Geraldine) and Adolph Epps, both of Warsaw, VA; two sisters: Deborah Cannady of Warsaw, VA and Sedonia Turner of Tappahannock, VA; ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; three special children: Tim Batts, Barry McGee and Sonja Woodward; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss her dearly. Viewing for relatives and friends will be 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, July 24, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Rose Hill, NC.
