Moses Moore

Mr. Moses Moore, aka “Bo Pete”, age 72, of Teachey, NC passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

A viewing will be on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel followed by the funeral at 12:30 pm. Burial will be at Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey, NC.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories two sons: Jeffrey Moore (Tracie) of Teachey, NC and Gregory Moore (Nickee) of Wallace, NC; two brothers: Jimmy Moore (Josephine) of Wallace, NC and Robert Moore, Jr. (Miriam) of Harrells, NC; two sisters: Lucy Merritt and Judy Moore, both of Wallace, NC; three nieces raised in the home: Tashianna Chester and Brittany Moore, both of Beulaville, NC and Courtney Moore of Rose Hill, NC; twelve grandchildren; Jeffrey, Harleigh, Shamiyah, Janiya, Nakiyah, Kobe, Amir, Justice, Alijah, Maverick, Kaiden and Kaleb; one great-grandchild, Zarah; special niece, Carol Newkirk; two special friends: Everett Newkirk and Jim Williams; a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
