Ollen Augusta Whitehead

Mr. Ollen Augusta Whitehead, age 91, formerly of Chinquapin, NC  passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at his home in Rose Hill, NC.

A viewing will be held from 12:00-12:45pm  on Friday, October 31, 2025; followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. Burial will follow at Whitehead Family Cemetery in Chinquapin, NC.

Left to cherish his precious memories: one brother, David Whitehead of Bronx, NY; one aunt, Laverne Garrett of Babylon, NY; special cousin and caretaker, Valerie Boney Pollock (Jasper) of Rose Hill, NC, special cousin, Myrtle Elaine Farrior of Rose Hill, NC and special friend, Elizabeth Batts (Malcolm) of Kenansville, NC; many cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
