Ms. Pauline “Polly” Pearsall Scarbrough, age 71, of Teachey, NC died Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill, NC. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia, NC. Left to cherish her precious memories are two sons; Kenneth L. Scarbrough (Jeanette) of Teachey, NC and Ricky L. Scarbrough (Keisha) of Magnolia, NC; one daughter, Claudia J. Newkirk (Elton) of Chinquapin, NC; two sisters: Pearline Scarbrough (Willis) and Rosa Lee Walker (Alphonso), both of Teachey, NC; three uncles: Roman Brinson (Mildred), David Brinson and John Henry Brinson; special friend, Willie Bannerman; special grandchild, Isaiah Carney; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, one hour prior to the service.
