Mr. Raphael Waymon Carlton, age 93, of Rose Hill, NC Peacefully Transitioned into Eternal Rest Monday, May 25, 2020 at his home. Left to cherish his precious memories are his son, Michel R. Carlton of Rose Hill; two daughters, Anita Carlton of Raleigh and Reneé Carlton Daniel of Marietta, GA; two brothers, Joe Lewis Carlton of Teachey and Nathaniel Carlton of Hampton, VA; three sisters: Gerdine Stevens (Charles) of Fayetteville, Myrtle E. Carlton of Teachey and Doris Murphy (James) of Magnolia; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral service will be 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, NC. Pastor Danielle Glaze, officiating. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Teachey, NC. Viewing for relatives and friends will be 11:00 am to 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
