Richard Edward Carr

Mr. Richard Edward Carr, age 72, of Wallace, NC passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel in Rose Hill, NC. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his children: Richard Carr, Jr., Sherita Carr and Debra Carr, all of Philadelphia, PA; brother, James “Coz” Kerr (Daphne) of Clayton, NC; sisters: Sharon “Cookie” Carr (Caesar) of Ivanhoe, NC and Barbara “Tammy” Kerr; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two aunts and one uncle; special friend, Annie Bennerman of Wallace, NC; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
