He was very passionate about his work, and always supported his team. Ricky’s faith was a driving force in his life. He became a member of Contee AME Zion Church in 2011, where he worshiped. During Ricky’s journey through life he also developed a passion for the sport of basketball. This not only changed his life but shaped it to have the strong morals and values that he followed until the end. Once Ricky began to create his own family, this pushed his determination even further to become a leader, a protector, a provider, and most importantly, a father. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents James and Nancy Kea, his brother James “Dan” Kea, and his sisters Wilma Kea, Carolyn Kea, and Cathy Kea. Ricky leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 11 years, Lawanda Nedd-Kea of Temple Hills, MD; daughters Chauntica Reid of Prince Frederick, MD, and Nancy Kea of Baltimore, MD; son Dana Nedd of Washington, DC; brothers Top Keaton (Ida) of Wilmington, NC, Bobby Kea (Shirley) of San Antonio, TX, Henry “Ronnie” Kea (Audrey) of Teachey, NC, Jerry Kea (Karyn) of Flint, MI, and Willis Nedd (Lindora) of Lothian, MD; grandson Caden Nedd of Washington, DC; mother-in-law Jessie M.
